I wanted to put together a Valentine’s playlist that most people wouldn’t even think of. I figured a smooth, sexy mix of new disco heavily influenced by the late 70s and early 80s disco dance music with touches of house, club, synth, electro and italo all thrown in there. The end result is an intoxicating smooth laidback mix of cool new disco flavored electronic music that’s big on the dance charts. This is not your YMCA, I WILL SURVIVE, STAYING ALIVE disco mix. Nothing is familiar here and that’s the way I like it. And once you listen to this great mix I’m sure you will understand the concept behind this hot nu disco mix perfect for Valentine’s day.
Every single cut starting with Crazy P (used to be called Crazy Penis) and ending with Faze Action’s upbeat Good Lovin’ (Special Disco Mix) is a winning track. Listen closely and you will here a remake of a pretty well known cover of a Fleetwood Mac 80s hit in the mix as well. It’s certainly a winner of a cut and it’s been on repeat for me for quite sometime now.
