Here’s a fun playlist of retro sounding electronic/lounge music. A lot of the tunes are very upbeat and energetic and will get your cocktail party shaking. This Austin Powers or any of the Pink Panther films or even the Peter Sellers film The Party and you get the idea of the types of sounds these tracks are.
The tracks definitely sound like they came from the 60′s but not your 60′s hippie music the more fun, sexy, campy, quirky and bordering soft porn music. All from really established electronic musicians/bands who create albums full of this style of music so if you haven’t heard of these guys do check out more of their music.
