I’ve never seen a soundtrack for the hit ABC show Ugly Betty. I like the show alot and I do love the music they feature in the show or even the music that’s just used in the background. So what I decided to do was to put together a playlist (CD length of course) of music that’s inspired by Ugly Betty.
Lot’s of fashion references in the music about looking beautiful, sexy, modeling, photography and of course fashion magazines.
I had to use Madonna because the last episode of season 2 featured 4 Madonna songs and I also wanted to include a song about New York so I figured Madonna’s song I Love New York would work great. Of course I’m using the (Thin White Duke Remix) here which I do love alot more than the original version.
And of course RuPaul’s supermodel had to be included but I made sure a newer remix was used not the original that goes back to 1992. This version features Shirley Q. Liquor. it’s a hoot so check it out!
I do like this mix as I was just listening to it and I think if the producers of the show wanted to put together their own soundtrack they should definitely come here for some ideas. Or even if their music supervisor needed ideas for songs to use in the show … well perhaps thse tracks could work on the show. Don’t you think?
